Course Policies and Procedures
Article 1: Rules to be followed during the training program
These regulations are established in accordance with the provisions of Articles L.6352-3 and L.6352-4 and R.6352-1 through R.6352-15 of the French Labor Code. They apply to all trainees for the duration of the training program
Article 2: Discipline
Trainees are strictly prohibited from:
● Bringing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages other than water into the dance studio
● Consuming food within the dance studio
● Unless otherwise specified, walking in street shoes
on the dance floor
Article 3: Sanctions
Any conduct deemed inappropriate by the management of the training organization may, depending on its nature and severity, be subject to one or more of the following sanctions in ascending order of severity:
● A written warning from the Director of the training organization;
● A reprimand
● Permanent expulsion from the training program
Article 4: Pre-disciplinary Hearing and Procedure.
No disciplinary action may be taken against the trainee without simultaneously informing them in writing of the charges against them. When the training organization intends to impose disciplinary action, it shall summon the trainee by registered letter with return receipt
Internal Regulations
dated Dec. 1, 2021 Association Le Prix de l’essence
or delivered to the trainee against a receipt, stating the purpose of the summons, the date, time, and location of the hearing, unless the proposed sanction has no impact on the trainee’s continued participation in the training program.
During the meeting, the trainee has the option of being assisted by a person of their choice, whether a trainee or an employee of the training organization. The summons referred to in the preceding article shall mention this option. During the interview, the reason for the proposed disciplinary action shall be communicated to the trainee, who shall then have the opportunity to provide any explanation or justification regarding the allegations against them.
When a provisional measure of temporary exclusion with immediate effect is deemed necessary by the training organization, no final disciplinary action regarding the misconduct that led to this exclusion may be taken without the trainee having first been informed of the charges against him or her and, if applicable, having been summoned to a hearing and given the opportunity to explain himself or herself before a Disciplinary Committee.
The sanction may not be imposed less than one full day or more than 15 days after the interview or, where applicable, after the Disciplinary Committee has issued its opinion.
It must be communicated to the trainee in writing, with reasons provided, via registered mail or a letter delivered against receipt. The training organization must simultaneously inform the employer, and, where applicable, the joint body covering the training costs, of the sanction imposed.
Article 5: Representation of Trainees
When a training program lasts more than 500 hours, an election is held to select one regular delegate and one alternate delegate through a two-round, single-member district voting system. All trainees are eligible to vote and stand for election, except for inmates admitted to participate in a vocational training program.
The training organization shall organize the election, which shall take place during training hours, no earlier than 20 hours and no later than 40 hours after the start of the training program. If it is impossible to appoint trainee representatives, the training organization shall draw up a report of failure to appoint representatives and forward it to the regional prefect with territorial jurisdiction.
The delegates are elected for the duration of the training. Their term of office ends when they cease, for any reason whatsoever, to participate in the training.
If the incumbent delegate and the alternate delegate have ceased their duties before the end of the training session, a new election shall be held under the conditions set forth in Articles R.6352-9 through R.6352-12.
The trainees’ representatives shall make any suggestions to improve the conduct of the training programs and the trainees’ living conditions at the training institution. They shall submit any individual or collective complaints regarding these matters, health and safety conditions, and the enforcement of the internal regulations.
Article 6: Health and Safety
The prevention of accidents and illnesses is imperative and requires everyone to fully comply with all applicable health and safety regulations. To this end, the general and specific safety guidelines in effect at the organization, where they exist, must be strictly followed, subject to disciplinary action.
When training takes place on the company’s premises, the applicable general and specific safety guidelines are those of the training venue, as specified at the time of registration.
Article 7: Knowledge of These Regulations
A copy of these regulations is provided to each trainee (prior to the start of each training session).
